The Washington Redskins beat the New York Giants, 72-41, on Nov. 27, 1966, setting the record for most points scored by a team in a regular-season NFL game. This game also set the record for most points in any NFL game, 113. On the other side of the ledger, the Redskins hold the dubious distinction of allowing the most points in a game. In the 1940 NFL championship game, the Chicago Bears beat them, 73-0.
